An organization for the intersection between physics and consciousness. Ramachandran. Enjoy!

Mind Your Physics is a scientific, communal environment focused on dialog concerning the intersection between physics and consciousness. Consciousness is among the most complex and fascinating subjects ever pondered by the human mind and physics is the most fundamental of all sciences. We focus on the convergence of neuroscience, cognitive science, computer science with the complexities of modern

physical theories including quantum physics, classical physics, and theoretical physics to try to further our understanding of consciousness and science and philosophy of mind. We span from Alan Turing to Douglas Hofstadter, Roger Penrose to Lawrence Krauss, Henry Stapp to Erwin Schrodinger to Isaac Newton, Daniel Dennett to Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins to Steven Pinker, Giulio Tononi to Richard Feynman, Stephen Wolfram to Seth Lloyd, Eric Kandel to V.S. Further topics include emergent properties of complex systems, quantum biology, computer/neural architectures, philosophy, cosmology, particle physics and onward. We hold above all, empiricism, skepticism, rationality and critical thinking to try to scratch out the pseudoscience that is so often associated with the modern explosion of popularity in the fields of quantum physics and philosophy of mind. All associated/related topics are welcome for discussion and do not necessarily imply the "beliefs" or "understandings" of Mind Your Physics. We encourage open minded discussion but wish to assert the importance of critical thinking and empiricism so as not to become disassociated from reality and the fundamental importance of scientific thinking.
