ONE LEFT! LMK if want the last one!

A modern reissue of the vintage Maestro MPF-1 Parametric Filter hand wired and assembled by Loophole Pedals in Dallas, Texas. The vintage style graphics were also etched in house by Loophole Pedals. The circuit board used was provided by lectricFx.

A MOSFET/CMOS based clean boost, overdrive & powerful (semi) parametric EQ all in one, famously used by QOTSA & Rush, the Maestro™ MPF-1 offers a wide array of tone shaping options and fuzz sounds.

This model differs from the original in that it has a separate footswitch for the overdrive mode with individual gain controls for the drive mode on and off. The filter rotary selector (bottom middle k**b) has four positions, from low-mid filtering to higher band filtering. Using these two in tandem, there are 8 total positions, expanding on the original design by adding 3 new combinations!

Custom MPF1 Parametric EQ custom build! The one pictured ships today and I have ONE left for sale. hmu if interested. I build these in tiny batches of 2 at a time. SOOO much tone shaping potential in a small black box with 4 bands of freq "filter" range. The second footswitch adds an overdrive mode perfect for when a song needs a little switchable gain boost!

These two MPF-1 build are taking longer than expected but I'm close to the finish line! The W10k pots for the wave height control were discontinued. After burning a couple hours scouring the internet, I tried using a B10k pot. the entire range was in the last 5% of the turn, terribly bunched up and unacceptable. I ended up going with a W20k pot with a 20k resistor across the lugs. This gets about 90% of the same result as the original feel, as close as it's going to get as parts become discontinued. Etching enclosures is next!

So many projects in the works, just waiting on parts! This is two pcbs for a modern take on a Maestro MPF-1 Parametric EQ. It's a dual channel EQ, one clean one dirty, completely changes the tone of the signal in the best way. 👇 Do you use an EQ pedal?

One of the most expensive pedals in the world came through my shop for repairs....the KLON CENTAUR.

Unfortunately, the damage was underneath the goop. Attempting any repair would have destroyed the collector value, so I had to reassemble

and send it back. Still a pretty cool piece of history!
