Today's Security Alert!!!!
I just received a voicemail on my cell stating that it was Comcast and they were giving me a 50% discount on my monthly bill and waiving all current charges completely. All they wanted me to do was to call the number that showed up on my caller ID.
PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMS!!!!
Luckily, my verizon mobile phone detected the call as spam so I did not answer, but the scammer left that message.
If it was actually Comcast calling, I would have been instructed to call the actual Comcast number which is 1-888-Comcast, or 1-800-Comcast. Always check the phone number from your monthly bill and do not call the number from your caller ID. 99% of these calls are a scam, so please be vigilant.

Windows 10 is set to expire soon. Another PSA from FPC for the the new year. This should not need to be said in 2024, but, please backup your important files. most computers from the last 5 or so years have come with, or have been upgraded to SSD technology. While SSD's are very fast, and rarely die (Key word is "rarely"), when they do crap out, your data will be gone without warning. Your family photos, accounting files, important documents, etc. will be gone forever. in some cases the files can be recovered, but expect to spend over $1000 for data recovery services. That is your final warning!
