Check out our CEO's interview on the Infinite Machine Learning podcast. A wide range of AI topics are covered, especially as they relate to call centers. Topics such how voice AI solutions are built, the future of call center AI, how to prioritize call center AI solutions, etc.

Listen to this episode from Infinite ML with Prateek Joshi on Spotify. Ofer Ronen is the CEO of Tomato.ai, an AI platform to soften speech accents of people as they speak. [Enhancing Humans] Neuralink just implanted a chip in a paralyzed person to help them control their environment with their minds (e.g. a PC or wheelchair). In his book Life 3.0, Max Tegmark, an MIT professor, describes enhancing our bodies as moving humans from Life 2.0 closer to Life 3.0, where we don't just evolve our software (mind) as we age, but also our hardware (bodies). One day there could maybe be a hearing aid or implant, powered by Tomato.ai, which helps people hear anyone in their preferred accent :)

Top 5 surprising (non AI related) challenges our former team faced launching voice virtual agents for large enterprises, including enterprises with >100M calls a year.

(1) often the bottleneck to launching a dynamic voice bot experience was an API was missing with the critical data needed; other times the API existed, but the latency was too high to support a voice experience

(2) changing caller habits can be difficult; often they insist on speaking to a human agent, not giving the voice bot a chance; other times they are used to touchstone or keyword based experiences and don’t dare to engage the voice bot in a more verbose way

(3) sometimes internal politics at the enterprise made it difficult to launch the highest impact use cases in a timely manner; sometimes because of teams resisting change, advocating for legacy systems; other times because each team would argue for their use cases

(4) in other instances security requirements were higher for popular but more sensitive use cases (eg payments required PCI compliance), delaying launching those use cases

(5) sometimes there were ongoing debates as to which integrator(s) would assist with the bot deployment, which would slow down the work

What other non AI related challenges have others faced launching voice bots?
