I've been asked many times, "I'm looking to buy a new computer, what do you suggest?"
What a loaded question this is. There are so many factors to consider when looking to purchase a new computer. Are you just a casual user who only gets on there to check Facebook statuses and email and surf the web? Are you a gamer who's looking to run the latest games with the graphics wide open? Or are you the business owner who could care less about graphics, but wants redundancy and safety in everything you do?
If you're the true casual user, you might not even want a computer, but a tablet of some sort. Tablets are a great way to surf the internet, get/read your email, check Facebook, and even do some occasional things with Google Docs.
If you're a gamer, do you care about upgrading components down the road, or do you want the portability of a high end laptop?
For the business owner, do you want to take your computer with you? Or do you want the stability of a home system that can be both protected and backed up on a regular basis?
So many questions that you need to answer for yourself honestly.
But, just like when finding a quality vehicle technician, find someone you can trust to help you answer those questions honestly for yourself and can help you find what you need, whether that be an off the shelf system, or something built with the latest parts to purchase.
