All these companies switching to let LLMs program a lot of their product are concerning. Microsoft chief among them, and they're bragging about it! If you're interested in checking out Linux in the wake of the recent murder of Windows 10, I recommend a few options.
Zorin OS is probably the most Window-like Linux experience out of the box. If you just want to feel a little more comfortable it is an alright choice. Based on Ubuntu, which gets its roots from Debian, there is a trove of existing applications and forum threads detailing solutions to any issue you might have.
Pop!_OS is my personal favorite to recommend to Linux Newbies. Ubuntu/Debian based like Zorin, it has good compatibility with a variety of existing applications without much risk of needing to know how to compile anything yourself.
Arch Linux. For the more techie type folks looking for an option, I implore you to try Arch. Gone are the days of needing to compile everything yourself. Some stuff, sure, but most applications I've used recently are either available in the main repositories or on the AUR. The new Arch Install script makes it easier than ever to get started.
I've been gaming exclusively on Linux for a few months now. In fact, only one PC on my network is on Windows anymore and that's because it uses a Windows-only software I need for my business but soon I'm sure to find a way to run that software through Wine.
TL;DR Now is a great time to learn Linux. If you'd like to have your machine set up for you that is a service we offer but honestly you'll probably do fine googling free tutorials. Happy computing, everyone. And Happy Holidays!
