As the final months of 2023 went by, I caught myself in mega retrospection mode. My business wasn’t quite where I'd hoped it would be, and let's be real — the inner gremlins of anxiety and the fear of truly being seen were cramping my style, big time. Somewhere between the hustle and bustle, I realized I was lost in a maze of my own making.

It was time to strip back the layers, to sift through the clutter that no longer felt right, and start following my own inner compass.

This journey inward kindled a desire for real, raw change. To chase after the dreams that scare me, to embrace the tumbles along the way, and to leap into the unknown with a heart full of hope for this new chapter.

And what does this mean for our little corner of the internet? It means a renaissance of sorts — a website that mirrors the clarity I seek, offerings that are less about the hustle and more about heart-stopping, life-altering impact, and yes, a little more of me, unscripted and unretouched, in your daily scroll.

Brand reveal for Her Place handmade homewares.

I'm all for handmade dishes and sculptures, so I could definitely see myself shopping this brand to decorate my own home! Though to be honest, I do have a hard time buying any homewares that aren't thrifted - I mean, what CAN'T you find at a thrift store for a fraction of the price??

This brand reveal is very fitting personally since its and my "house-versary" 🏡 today. It's amazing to me that we've lived here a year already! Gosh, time sure flies the older you get...

Sometimes a logo just doesn't make the cut...

This is one version I decided to push to the side for this week's project. I love the delicate simplicity of the design, but ultimately went with a vibe that felt like a much better fit for the brand. That's why revisions are so, so important!

Introducing - Balance Club, a healthy snack company.

For this brand, I aimed to create something that would appeal to the more upscale health and wellness community by adding a sense of luxury and exclusivity. Think elevated protein bars, crackers, sweets, and the like. The branding and packaging isn't meant to be bold and in-your-face, but more like a "secret club" that you need to be invited to try.

Brand musings for healthy snack company, Balance Club.

This brand has such a cool vibe already. Balance Club fans love '90s nostalgia, beach days, spin and pilates classes, and fresh, healthy food. They enjoy a luxury experience while maintaining a balanced lifestyle.

Brand reveal for songwriter/musician/free spirit, Ally Coleman.

I had a crazy week and ran out of time to do the full branding for this week's brief, but I was so in love with the concept of designing for a musician that I wanted to share what I had!

I LOVE that vinyl has been making a comeback! I am a huge vinyl record buff and love collecting them to play and display as artwork. I think they're such an important part to the musical experience that you just can't get from a CD or internet stream.
