Our 15th Annual Bike to Work Day was a huge success for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. We had about 35 riders and raised over $13,000. A special thank you to all of the riders and supporters.

The FlashCut Burger Wars are sadly over- After 21 weeks plus 3 mouth-watering playoff rounds of eating delicious burgers at 21 top burger joints in the Chicago North Suburbs, we have two that tied for Outstanding 1st Place Champions and 3 Excellent Runners Up… But the real winners were the judges at FlashCut CNC! Here are our top 5 and now you can choose yours…

Outstanding 1st Place Champions
Bluegrass of Highland Park - An amazing patty of angus beef grilled to perfection and a blue cheese crust and then topped with crispy onions, blue cheese and bacon for an unbelievable symphony of flavors
Bobby’s of Deerfield - A perfect blend of ground chuck, brisket and short rib evenly cooked to perfection topped with a blend of cheeses, caramelized onions and bacon on a pretzel bun
Excellent Runners Up
Prairie Grass of Northbrook – Incredibly tender ground sirloin, Mild Amish Blue Cheese Topping, Warm Beefsteak Tomato, Grilled Onions

Congrats to FlashCut CNC's Future Engineers Scholarship Award Winners for 2015!

The Future Engineers Scholarship Award is given annually to college-bound students pursuing an engineering or science degree at a four-year college or university from Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Illinois.

This year, FlashCut CNC is pleased to announce joint winners: Jenna Schwartz and John Kempf. Jenna Schwartz will be studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan. John Kempf will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Marquette University. Congratulations to both outstanding students!

FlashCut CNC has been a strong proponent of education since our inception. We support technology education via high school and college technology team sponsorships, CNC Controls and CAD/CAM discounts for all educational institutions, our internship program and Future Engineers Award for our local high school.

The City of Atlanta's $59 million MARTA Streetcar Project chooses FlashCut CNC's Platinum Controllers as an integral part of the Railway Wheel Truing and Wheel Profiling System. MARTA's extensive transportation system creates a 2.7 mile transit loop in downtown Atlanta. FlashCut CNC is excited to be part of this critical infrastructure expansion.
