If you saw last week's post, this is the amplifier I was working on. The fabled amp-in-case Silvertone 1457! Other than the glaring wiring problems, all this needed was a shot of cleaner in all the controls and a 3 prong cord (for safety) and it was back to it's former glory! It's always an honor to work on these unique units from history!

With vintage amps, you never know what surprises are waiting for you! This amp was fully functioning, but inside the power cord was exposed and the speaker cord was of equal quality of workmanship. This was a shock and fire hazard waiting to happen.

Any guesses what amp model this is?
