The behind-the-scenes work nobody sees? That's where the magic happens.
Lately, I’m hyper-focused on improving business systems. Here's what I've been up to:
Updated my Squarespace website service offers to include Copywriting!
Built new processes to improve client engagement, so projects flow more smoothly
Added bonuses to make my clients even happier
Started a book club
Joined a new networking community and attended my first two in-person meetings
Launched a co-working event
Began a morning yoga + journaling routine…thanks for the inspo
These aren't flashy changes, but they're already making a huge difference in how I serve small businesses like yours.

Welcome to 2026! Real talk: You're probably one of two types of people right now.

👉🏽 Type 1: Fired up. Full of plans. Ready to make moves in your business.
👉🏽 Type 2: Same as last year. No significant changes planned.

I'm definitely ready to spread my wings! In November, I spent time at the Live & Grow Retreat with .gillis and seven other business owners mapping out what I want my business to look like by December 2026.

Since then? I've revamped my website packages, streamlined my processes, launched a book club, and started a morning yoga practice. These changes are already generating results in my life and business.

I was listening to the podcast with Abbey Ashley about Planning and Preparing for Black Friday Promotions. Here are my top takeaways + tips you can use to help increase sales in your business this holiday season:

1. You have to email more frequently to get noticed this time of year.

2. Bundles are strong sellers! Create bundles of your products to increase your average transaction revenue. Try these ideas for your product bundles:
> Consider what your customers regularly buy together and package them together at a discounted rate.
> Offer volume discounts, for example:
> buy 1 for you + 1 for yourself get 10% off
> make a set of something you offer: one at $10 or a set of four at $32

3. Start teasing your holiday products and upcoming discounts now to get your audience excited!
