Our Multimedia team went full Rhinestone Cowboy at Elements' NeoCan't for a fun evening showing Denver's commercial interiors community how technology can be part of creating engaging spaces. Our exhibit featured Q-SYS technology, a Mario Kart showdown, and a few prizes for the winners.

Learning with LINX: Multi-Room Audio & Paging

A building-wide announcement only works if the right people can hear it clearly.

Paging and multi-room audio systems can be designed around zones, allowing organizations to communicate with specific areas or across an entire facility. An office may need an announcement on one floor, a warehouse may need paging across a noisy production area, and a campus may need to reach multiple buildings or common spaces.

But coverage is only part of the equation. Speaker placement, background noise, room acoustics, and system design all influence how clearly a message can be understood. A system that is loud enough isn't necessarily a system that's clear enough.

Thoughtful zoning also gives teams more control over where announcements are heard, helping make communication more useful without unnecessarily interrupting the rest of the building.
