Mile High Audio Video (dba Mile High Control dba 5280 Audio Video, dba TV Guyz) is a local, privately owned, full service audio video and integration company that deals in both residential and commercial projects mostly in the Denver area.
We are currently seeking to immediately fill a full-time salaried position with a qualified technician.
Our technicians are required to work at 4 days a week (full time salary position) which may require evening and weekend availability (no Sundays).Our technicians typically travel in two-person teams using our supplied company vans and tools.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T MEET THE CRITERIA BELOW - We are willing to train the right individual from another trade, but qualifications should include some experience with:
TV mounting and installation, pre-wire and retro-fit cabling, minor remote control programming, surround sound setup and installation, wall and ceiling speaker installation, and equipment rack building and wiring.
Troubleshooting basic audio and video and network systems as well as service provider systems like DirecTV, Comcast, etc..
Basic cable, network and speaker terminations.
This position will regularly consist of the following types of work:
Installation and wall-mounting of TVs and other shelving devices.
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of surround sound, home theater and distributed whole home audio and video systems.
Remote control programming and basic troubleshooting for Comcast, Dish Network, DirecTV, and Centurylink.
Running/fishing/terminating speaker, data and service provider cabling (Cat5/6, RG6) in new-construction and retro-fit situations.
Heavy lifting.
Additional proficiency in the following is desirable but not required:
Installation, troubleshooting and programming of whole-home automation systems including lighting control, motorized shading, HVAC control systems, security camera systems and access control systems.
Installing, troubleshooting and programming of integrated automation systems like Control4, RTI, URC.
Data network installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of Apple and Windows-based platforms.
Applicants should possess the following:
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Basic knowledge in audio/video and network equipment.
Ability to provide superior customer service under difficult situations.
Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner.
Proficiency with computers - both PC's and Mac's as well as various office suites.
Basic building construction knowledge.
Strong mathematical skills.
Excellent communication skills in all forms.
Ability to work without direct supervision and as a team.
An ambitious, quality-driven and self-motivated personality.
Ability to learn quickly and retain acquired knowledge.
Ability to interact with designers, architects and other industry professionals.
Knowledge in the interpretation and understanding of construction plans and wiring schematics.
Ability to lift over 50 pounds independently.
