An official seal and logo system for Litchfield Park Scout Lodge Preservation Inc. (LPSLP), the nonprofit that preserves and is relocating and reconstructing the historic Scout Lodge in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
Let's dive in:
📈 They’re entering a long horizon of fundraising, construction, and preservation. The identity needed to carry institutional weight on grants, certificates, legal documents, and public notices, while still feeling like a real place with a real Scouts of America legacy.
🏫 The core mark is an official seal centered on a detailed illustration of the Scout Lodge. I rendered it in a scratchboard-engraving style so it stays crisp at stamp size and still reads on large signage. A rope border and circular type treatment reference traditional civic seals, but the lodge remains the hero.
⚙️ This system was engineered to perform in strict one-color black for embossers, ink stamps, and reliable reproduction across print and digital. From there, it expands into a flexible logo family for everyday use. The primary palette pulls from Arizona’s state flag colors (AZ Blue, AZ Red, AZ Gold, AZ Orange) to create an instantly recognizable presence on envelopes, letterheads, outdoor signage, and apparel. A simplified lodge mark and “LPSLP” wordmark give the organization practical options for merchandise and informal contexts, while the full seal anchors formal communication.
