Two 64HP Cases of Steel are packed in this jam, featuring modules from across our three platforms Versio, Legio, and Alia.

Melotus Versio, our stereo texturizer, is processing Incus Iteritas Alia. The BIA is thumping away passing through Roucha Legio for some wavefolding and stereo filtering, while Tymp Legio and Manis Iteritas Alia bring in the rest of the rhythmic fills.

Xer Dualis mixes all the voices together, then Librae Legio adds the final polish with some dynamics processing.

What’s your favorite combination of Versio, Legio, and Alia?

Question of the Week: What module is best for a haunting generative patch?

Why doesn't NE make more expanders? It's a question we get asked pretty often, and the answer involves hardware limitations and other design decisions.

In our latest blog post, we explain why they aren't practical, why our Xer Mixa mixer is an exception, and what happened when we explored making USB expanders for Legio, Versio, and Alia: https://noiseengineering.us/blogs/loquelic-literitas-the-blog/why-no-expanders

Question of the Week: What questions do you have for us? Let us know in the comments, and we'll put together a video with as many answers as we can!

Earlier this week, our blog featured a small-case Legio drum kit and showed how you can chain the modules together without needing a mixer. Here's the jam from that post.

Legio owners, have you swapped to any of the new percussion firmwares yet?

We're putting the Legio drum kit to work in our latest post! Explore how to chain the modules together without a dedicated mixer, sequence them, and add effects for even more percussive sonic pleasure.

Plus, hear the whole kit in action with a patch from NE's POB. Check out the jam and get some ideas for your own drum setup: https://noiseengineering.us/blogs/loquelic-literitas-the-blog/quick-patch-the-legio-drum-kit/
