For the past 3 weeks we have been doing AI Ready SEO work for clients and one thing I have noticed is that most people haven't touched their Google Business Profile in years.

Old photos. No Google posts. Reviews from 2019.

For 23 years at BluDomain we never asked a single client to leave us a Google Review. Not once. Twenty-three years of happy clients, locked away in an inbox Google never saw.

I'm learning that the kind words you kept private were meant to be shared on Google too.

Adding new Google reviews, uploading a fresh photos every week. Responding to a review with more than "thank you." Posting once a week even when nobody reads Google posts (or at least I don't) ... but it matters for SEO.

It's not about being perfect. It's about showing Google you're here, you're active, and you're worth recommending.

I just posted a checklist on the blog , wait until you see what uploading a photo named IMG_1234.jpg is actually costing you.

It's really how you make people feel. The experience. How you curate your website.

Everything is changing and I imagine most of you are overwhelmed. What's needed now are calm spaces, places where you can take a deep breath and browse. A website that is not chaotic. Scrolling should feel easy, visually stimulating without being exhausting.

When someone visits your site, they should know the person behind it carries calm, thoughtfulness. That they will have an experience. That they're not just a transaction.

It starts with your website.

We've been launching new designs and I've designed them with intention. They flow beautifully on desktop and feel calm on mobile. Drop your images and your text in. Give your clients the entrance into what they will receive.

It matters. I promise.

Tuesday thoughts:

I've spent the past 3 weeks deep in the backend of BluDomain. Long hours. SEO restructuring.

Testing every page on our website, fixing, restructuring, rebuilding, making sure we’re visible to AI platforms and that Google is happy. Testing keywords, researching new keywords. Learning and growing.

AI is quietly replacing how people search for everything, including photographers.

It’s been a humbling process, 23 years in the industry and I’m looking at BluDomain through completely new eyes.

AI is changing how people find you. I'm already seeing how easily a business can become invisible in a space that didn’t exist two years ago.

Deep breaths, keep building, AI structure.

On Sunday mornings, I read client testimonials and feedback. It's one of my quiet rituals.

I sit at the end of the week and ask myself, what do our clients need? How do we give them more? How do we keep building something that matters?

This Sunday, I paused. Not because of anything extraordinary in my notes. But because of the dates. I read them in this exact order. 18 years. 21 years. 15 years.

Twenty-three years.

BluDomain has existed for twenty-three years. I started it because I couldn't find a website I loved. I wanted something I could edit myself. Something I could control. Harald, bought books on coding and design and quietly said, "Let me build your vision." And we built something more. A programmer who has been with us since 2005.

And here we are.

Some of our clients are still using templates we built in 2003. We called them "modern, timeless" back then. I smile at that now.

What moves me most isn't the longevity of the company. It's our clients. Clients who have grown with us. Trusted us. Stayed through every evolution of our journey. Clients who are still doing what they love.

Twenty-three years. An emotional moment.
