OCTAVA Varidig (abbr. from VARIable DIGital) is our exclusive (patent pending) technology. Varidig is different from any other digital cable on the market because its porous Teflon® dielectric is thicker in the middle of the cable than it is at the ends. The picture below shows geometry of the inside wire assembly of the AES/EBU Varidig, which explains the concept and the technology: please note as the wires become smaller in diameter as they approach the end (the termination point); the twisting pitch also varies along the cable - which is a great help in reducing cable’ internal resonances.

This specialized dielectric geometry eliminates impedance mismatch at the critical points (where the connectors are attached to the cable, i.e. between the inherently low-impedance RCA connectors, or still far from 110 Ohms XLRs, and the cable itself) which allows to achieve the correct characteristic impedance of the ENTIRE cable, including the connectors (75 Ohms for the S/PDIF version, and 110 Ohms for the AES/EBU) and thus greatly reduce signal reflections in the cable. This Varidig technology works equally well with S/PDIF and AES/EBU configurations.

SAKRA V.16:

The Śakra V16 is quite different from the standard (original Sakra or the Sakra V.12): the cables are indeed directional – since they are CONICAL inside and outside, and feature our new “vari-cross” geometry – the cross-section of the cable varies along their length; this is done to improve the impedance matching between the source and the receiving end;

Sonically, the cables are more relaxed right out of the box, and sound yet more full-bodied (and thus natural) while having improved resolution and transparency over the “original” Sakra.

Because of the improved geometry the Śakra V16 is more relaxed and natural (right out of the box, in a brand new condition the V16 sounds more “broken in” – compare to the original Sakra with 1000+ hours on it). On top of that, the Sakra V16 has improved resolution and transparency over the “original” Sakra.

In other words, the Śakra V16 is simply a better cable and is one of our flagship analog interconnect for 2026.

KEY DESIGN FEATURES

• Amorphous conductive media (wire) - which is perfectly homogeneous, grain-less – i.e. identical in all directions, since it has no crystal structure at all;

• Ultra thin wire: 0.001” (one-thousands of an inch) thick. Very thin wire is important for:

◦ minimizing skin effect (no harshness in the upper midrange and treble);

◦ Proprietary non-resonant cable geometry: STEALTH vari-cross distributed LITZ**:

◦ Individually insulated strands (to eliminate direct electrical contact, i.e. galvanic interaction between strands – otherwise the multiple bare strands behave like a single thicker wire)

Dream Petite V.16:

The Dream Petite V16 loudspeaker cables is a smaller (3/4 size) version of our are our DREAM V18 speaker cables (relative sizes are show below: the Dream V18 with spade lugs is in the middle, and the Dream Petite V16 with banana plugs are left and right). It took over two years to develop the full Dream speaker cables, and then over a year to have the Dream Petite. Many prototypes have been made, and we listened to them extensively, but none of the earlier prototypes made it into beta testing - because none of them sounded sufficiently better than the Hybrid MLT...

As well as the full Dream, this one does.
There are two versions of the Dream Petite V16 loudspeaker cables: the standard V16, and the user-tunable V16-T. The ONLY difference between the two is the tuning collar*** on the V16-T version.

The Dream Petite V16 stereo set consists of two round cables - which are 31.75 mm (1 and 1/4 inch) in diameter. The cables split at the ends into positive and negative runs.

* The outer layer of the Dream Petite V16 cable is made of 12 wire assemblies and 4 spacers (dividers);
* Each wire assembly is approximately 6 mm (a bit smaller than 1/4 inch) in diameter, made of 8 individually insulated solid core wires in our proprietary non-resonant distributed LITZ configuration; two different thicknesses (gauges) of 99.99% pure solid core copper, and two different gauges of 99.997% pure solid core silver are used - per each wire assembly.
* The wire assemblies are wrapped around a hollow, flexible para-vacuum* center multi-core (flexible Helium-filled tubing).
* Three wire assemblies being run side-by-side create wire bundles (triple runs). Therefore, there are two wire bundles (triple runs) in each Dream Petite cable.
* The two wire bundles (triple runs) are separated by two soft (foam) Teflon dividing runs (spacers).
* The spacers have the same diameter as the wire assemblies, i.e. 6 mm (roughly 1/4 inch).
* Using dividers dramatically reduces the overall cable capacitance and thus assures stability (non-oscillation) of any amplifier.
