The East Village is about to VIBE ✨

Visionary is proudly located in the Historic East Village and we have a clear vision of what makes summer in our neighborhood amazing. We're thrilled to support Vibes in the Village!

Saturday, June 20 | 12–5 PM
Block party on East 5th Street + patio party on East 4th at Northern Vessel.

Live music from Luke Fox, cold drinks, good food, and real community vibes.

Then in July and August they're back at Simon Estes Amphitheater for the first time in seven years with free live music from Andrew Hoyt, local food, riverside drinks, and all-day neighborhood specials.

We are so proud to celebrate Software Engineer Dakota Reid for 10 amazing years at Visionary!

What started as an internship in 2015 has grown into a decade of incredible work, from FedEx to countless contract development projects.

Dakota is reliable, dependable, and always goes above and beyond for every client. He is truly a joy to work with and we are so lucky to have him on our team. Here is to you, Dakota! 🙌

🔥🍔 We had a vision… and it involved BBQ! The Visionary team gathered last night for our annual BBQ to celebrate an outstanding mid-year and a strong close to the fiscal year for one of our clients. Moments like these remind us why we love what we do!

At Visionary, we work hard and we celebrate even harder. This team shows up every single day with dedication, creativity, and passion and the results speak for themselves. We are so proud of everything this group has accomplished and there is no better way to honor that than good food and great company!

A huge thank you to our President, Bryan Gruhlke, for opening up his home and hosting the whole crew. 🙏

This week, Visionary's own Luke Frazee and Dakota Reid made the trip to PHP Tek 2026 in Chicago. Three days of expert sessions, workshops, and some of the best PHP minds in North America all under one roof. 🙌

Luke said it best: "PHP Tek is a great opportunity to learn from other experts in the field and experience the PHP community firsthand at its best."

That's exactly why we keep sending our developers every year. The sessions are great, but it's the community, the conversations, and the fresh perspective our team brings back that make it worth it every time.

Every year, Visionary sends developers to PHP Tek, the premier PHP conference in North America. This year, Software Engineers Luke Frazee and Dakota Reid made the trip to Chicago.

30 YEARS. 🎉 This month we're celebrating our very own Garritt Grandberg and his three incredible decades at Visionary! Since 1996, Garritt has been the kind of colleague people are lucky to have once in a career, endlessly knowledgeable, always calm under pressure, and somehow always good for a laugh at exactly the right moment. We gathered this week to celebrate him, and we just had to share the love. Congrats, Garritt, Visionary wouldn't be Visionary without you.

When we asked Garritt to reflect on 30 years, he said it best himself: "It feels more like thousands of small moments, solving problems, working through challenges, helping people where I could, and getting to do it alongside a lot of genuinely good people."

And the people around him? They had plenty to say too. From our VP Kelsy Sinnwell: "No matter how busy he is, he always makes time to help and offer thoughtful advice, never once making anyone feel like a burden for asking. He is selfless and genuinely wants everyone around him to succeed." Our founder David Safris put it simply: "There is no way I could have survived personally or professionally without your help."
