Some tips to save you from needing a replacement:
-Don't keep your PS5 plugged in vertically. The gravity from the cord is enough to wear it down.
-Use a more lightweight flexible HDMI cord
-Be very careful when plugging in your HDMI and pulling it out.
The PS5 HDMI port sucks. It's more shallow than a typical HDMI port which makes you think it ought to be jammed in more than it can be. Doing this warps the port and often bends it to where it takes a hold on to your cord. Then when you go to pull it out it's like you're trying to take the whole port with you.
Some more bad news: PS5 uses a proprietary HDMI port, so while we can replace it with one that's a bit higher quality and still use high-temp solder, everyone can still fall victim to the bad design. The good news is that if you need a replacement and follow these tips you should never have anything to worry about!
Message us now and we'll have your port installed either same or next day!
