Today we’re diving deep into the data topic with Gigi Ho from SEMA Data. We couldn’t think of anyone better suited for the topic, as Gigi’s dealing with aftermarket data nearly all her professional life.

We talked about the development towards a digital aftermarket within the last 20 years, why the discussion about data should be more about actual use cases, the uniqueness of the special equipment sector, the rise of e-commerce and how to deal with it as well as how electric vehicles will affect the market of speciality parts in the future.

PartsHub has been acquired by SEMA! Over the next several weeks, the SEMA Data Co-op will begin to incorporate the PartsHub platform into its leading product data management service. PartsHub clients can look forward to the support of SEMA’s expert staff, one-on-one catalog consultations, and data distribution through SDC’s robust reseller network.

We’re excited about this next chapter and continuing to help the automotive aftermarket transition to digital excellence. Though we won't see you at The SEMA Show this year, we'll be in touch soon with more information as it becomes available!
