I’ve said this before, and it’s worth repeating.
Most security issues we see don’t start with sophisticated attacks. They start with normal people trying to do their jobs.
A shipping notice that looks legitimate.
A document that feels urgent.
An email that arrives at just the wrong moment in a busy day.
When something goes wrong, it’s tempting to ask, “How did someone fall for that?” But that’s usually the wrong question.
The better question is whether we gave people the context, training, and support to recognize what didn’t look right.
Good security isn’t about assuming people will never make mistakes.
It’s about designing systems that expect human behavior; and protect people when it shows up.
That’s where managed IT support earns its value.
