Our second Trash Squirrels : Cleaning Up Dixon event was such a success! We cleaned Riverside Park and a portion of downtown. I collected 559 cigarette butts around a single bar! 😳 Thankfully they agreedto put out more ashtrays.

14 people participated including 3 famlies. The word is starting to get out about this awesome initiative but we still need your help! Join the Facebook group, tell your friends, and help us choose our future event locations. We’ll see you at our next pickup 10AM Saturday at John Dixon Park!

Dixon! Say hello to your newest community service team. 😁 We are the Trash Squirrels and we’re coming for your trash! Every Sunday we scurry around town collecting all the litter we can find. But we need your help! Join the Facebook group to keep up with our events and get involved. By the way, all volunteers receive $10 gift cards to our store after each event!

Trash Squirrels began in 2020 in Dekalb, where our first store is located. Every weekend we pick a different spot in town, split up, and collect all the litter we can find. We provide the equipment and supplies and across over 50 events we’ve cleaned over 10,000lbs of Trash!

We’re thrilled to bring this project to Dixon to share our community spirit! Join us every Sunday from 10-11:30AM so we can help take care of this beautiful town and set a great example for the leaders of tomorrow!

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has welcomed us with open arms to this wonderful community. It's only been two weeks since we opened our third toy store and the warm welcome we've received has been nothing short of amazing. We're so proud to be a part of this incredible town.

As a small business, we know firsthand how important it is to have the backing of the local community. Your enthusiasm for our store and the joy it brings to children is the reason we love what we do. It's been heartwarming to see how much pride you all take in your small town, and we feel privileged to be a part of it.

Thank you for making us feel so at home in Dixon. We're excited to continue bringing fun and excitement to children and families in the area for years to come. And for those of you who have yet to stop by, we can't wait to meet you and show you all the fun that’s in store!
