A little patience goes a long way when you come into a repair shop.

Today a customer walked in with a Motorola phone stuck in a boot loop after even Cricket couldn’t get it fixed. I did a hard reset and told him clearly, “Give it about 5–10 minutes.” He nodded his head like he understood.

So while the phone was processing, I stepped away to continue working on another repair worth $300. A minute later, the customer leans over the counter and says, “Are you just gonna leave me here standing?”

Sir… I literally just explained the process. A phone in a boot loop takes time. I can’t sit there holding your hand while the device is loading. I have multiple customers and multiple repairs going at the same time.

Please understand: repair shops are not fast food restaurants. Some fixes take minutes, some take hours, and multitasking is part of the job. Respect the process and have a little patience — we’re trying to help everybody as quickly and professionally as possible.
