EMAIL MARKETING DONE RIGHT:
I received this email this morning. I've always thought Sticker Mule did a fantastic job keeping their emails short and to the point. This one however was longer which made me want to read on...
We all need this kind of humor in our lives!
"A famous author, who happens to stan Sticker Mule, wrote this story and asked us to share it with our customers. Hope you like it 👇
Stephen Kinsey lived in small town.
As a young boy, he got the nickname Stickers. Somehow it stayed with him into adulthood and everyone in his little town called him Stickers.
One night, Stickers happened to be the only witness to a very serious, high profile felony. And being the only person at the scene of the crime, naturally, Stickers became the only suspect.
The police detained him and questioned him extensively. Stickers maintained his innocence, but the detectives weren't at all convinced.
The press was beginning to ask questions of their own and reporters from larger, nearby cities were flocking to get the scoop. The sheriff, who was up for reelection in the fall, was eager to give them answers, and was preparing his remarks.
Sticker's freedom and liberty were at stake, along with his reputation.
Meanwhile, a young detective happened to come across some overlooked surveillance footage. Right before her eyes was Stickers, innocently sitting in the exact spot he had told the detectives at the moment the crime had occurred.
She quickly gathered the evidence, and carried it up 2 flights of stairs and burst into the sheriff's office.
"You need to see this!" she blurted out, while frantically loading the surveillance footage onto the TV in his office.
"My, my, my." said the sheriff, taking off his hat as he watched the tape in disbelief.
What had seemed like a straightforward case one minute ago was about to get a lot more complicated. Questions raced through his head. If it wasn't Stickers then who was it? What would he say to the press? How would this impact his reelection efforts?
"What are you going to do?" the young detective asked him.
"Clear Stickers," he said.
