We’re excited to head to APHSA’s ISM Education Conference & Expo in Spokane, Washington, September 27–30. This year’s theme, Transforming Systems Through Technology & Innovation, centers on a challenge human services agencies navigate everyday: putting technology to work in ways that improve day-to-day practice.

We’ll be sharing how Traverse and Grove continue to evolve to make critical information easier to access, reduce administrative burden and create more capacity for peoplework.

Yesterday, we took a break from the usual routine to come together over good food and a chance to experience something new.

Our Diversity Lunch featured delicious Pan-African cuisine and gave our team an opportunity to embrace our core values of Community and Curiosity—creating space to connect with one another while trying something outside our usual lunch routine.

AI is changing quickly, but its role in casework doesn’t have to be complicated.

Used thoughtfully, AI can help caseworkers get through some of the work surrounding the work: drafting, organizing information, preparing questions, and tackling repetitive administrative tasks. The goal isn’t to remove responsibility or professional judgment. It’s to create more capacity for the work that requires it most.
