It’s not too late to register for our Birds of Prey Workshop with HawkQuest!🦅

For the first time at a Mike’s workshop, participants will have the chance to photograph two new birds:

- a Turkey Vulture 🦃 & a Ferruginous Hawk 🐦‍⬛

A Bald Eagle, Barn Owl, Screech Owl, and Short-Eared Owl will also be featured. With fall colors as the backdrop, this is a rare opportunity to photograph these birds from as close as five feet away!

Two options are available: a three-part workshop that includes a webinar, photo shoot, and critique, or the photo shoot only.

Bring your old photographs back to life. 🎨

In just 45 seconds, Joe ( ) demonstrates how Photoshop’s Neural Filters can add color to a black-and-white image—creating an incredible starting point for restoring old photographs and rediscovering family memories.

What photo from your past would you love to see in color?

Some photos become important the moment we take them. Others wait years to tell us what they mean.

The familiar street. The light on a friend’s face. Someone laughing exactly the way you remember. Photography gives us a reason to notice those moments while we’re living them—and something to return to when they’ve passed.

Keep taking the pictures that make you stop. Even if you can’t explain why yet. 📷

What’s one photograph you’re grateful you took?

Big reach. Surprisingly light feel. 🦅📸

Mike gets his hands on Sony’s new 400mm and 600mm lenses, and the first thing he notices is how light they are. If you’re putting together a wildlife photography kit, these are worth keeping an eye on.

Both are expected at Mike’s Camera in mid-October. Which would you take into the field: 400mm or 600mm?
