A lot to celebrate, and a lot to look forward to 🎉

Yesterday’s Fall Company Meeting not only covered corporate and project updates, but it gave us a chance to gather together and recognize the outstanding teams and individuals behind these projects, reflect on a successful year, and get excited for what's ahead.

We also celebrated employee anniversaries and the commitment of those who have helped shape SMT over the years. A common theme from yesterday: it's the people at SMT that make us stand out! 👏

First of three outdoor games this season in the books ✅🏒

Last night, more than 32,000 fans packed Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg to watch the Jets take on the Canadiens for the NHL Heritage Classic. The venue was transformed into a “Canadian cabin retreat."

In the week leading up to puck drop, our on-site technicians worked to set up and calibrate SMT’s outdoor PPT system which successfully drove the tracking stats and graphics featured throughout the broadcasts.

The Canadiens won 2-1, and the night delivered plenty of storylines. Well done to everyone involved, and we look forward to the next outdoor matchup at the Winter Classic!

What does a fall Saturday in ROOSTER look like? 🎧🍂

Anything but quiet.

ROOSTER is the name of our remote operation studios in Durham, N.C., Jacksonville, Fla., and Fremont, Calif., and on Saturdays, they're almost at full capacity with SMT operators working events across multiple leagues and time zones.

We're running scoring, stats, and graphics systems for the NHL, NBA, PFL, NCAA football, and more, delivering high-quality service to our clients from home base.

For every NBA game on ESPN, we’re placing virtual ads on the court and shot distance markers that reveal the exact distance of three-pointer attempts.

We've helped shape how fans watch the game, with innovations in virtual graphics, tracking, scoring and live data. We put fan-favorite features like shot distance and player tags on screen, and our systems generate real-time stats and scores that keep viewers in the know.

Tuesday’s NHL Frozen Frenzy was one for the record books!

16 staggered games and 112 goals, the second-most on a single gameday in league history. And SMT delivered more than 400 live graphics across the broadcasts. 🙌

Our technicians monitored 10+ critical SMT systems at every site, including NHL HITS scoring, NHL TVI+, OASIS data management, OPTICS pointers and Puck and Player Tracking, so every player, puck and goal was captured.

100+ SMT team members made it happen:
🏒 48 onsite operators (3 per arena)
🏒 7 regional managers
🏒 38 operators and engineers in Durham ROOSTER
🏒 17 LOTS technicians and game monitors in Jacksonville

Last night, our CEO Gerard J. Hall and Corporate VP of Marketing & Creative Patricia Hopkins joined the industry’s best at the Television Academy’s Saban Media Center in Los Angeles for the Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards.

Each week, NBC Sports' college football coverage puts some of the sport’s biggest teams and most recognizable environments in the national spotlight. 🏈
