$12k Vintage Sony x $799 Ohma

Guess who’s back? Back again....

This time we’re putting our Ohma Condenser next to a vintage Sony C-37A, a rare tube condenser from the late ‘50s that’s known for its vibey character and unique personality.

They’re completely different designs with different voices and we love that. Just a chance to hear how an original Ohma stands alongside one of the classics.

Don’t settle just because it technically works.

Standard pop filters do the job, but they also hover in front of your face, add another awkward limb to the stand, drift out of place, and turn a very simple problem into a surprisingly annoying little ritual.

So we kept picking at it.

Three years and a deeply unreasonable number of prototypes later, we made a magnetic pop filter that snaps directly onto your Ohma mic, stays put, and feels less like an accessory you tolerate and more like part of the mic itself.

Turns out spite is a perfectly valid R&D strategy.

After three years and a graveyard ikea bag of prototypes, we made a pop filter that snaps magnetically onto the mic and *actually* feels like part of it.
