Another email from my "Fake Email Collection":

All the links provided at the bottom of the email were to actual americanexpress.com addresses, but the one right in the middle to "Cancel Scheduled Transfer" was to a different website. Also notice the "From" address. . . it's not from an americanexpress.com or amex.com domain.

MORE INFO: These types of email are how hackers get around Multi-Factor Authentication (aka 2FA/MFA). They will take the credentials you type into their fake site and automatically try to login to American Express. . . then have it send a one time code to verify it's you (which they tell you is coming in the email), and they're in. Don't Fall for it!

Related to our previous post about fake Facebook messages from guest users... You can shut off guest messages to help reduce them. Open the Meta Business Suite for your page, then choose the settings on the bottom left (see picture with blue arrow/box). Then click Inbox on the left menu. Click the settings button on the top right (see red highlighted image with yellow arrow). Next look for the green highlighted setting (you may have to click "customize your chat plugin" first). Turn off the Guest Chat option.

This will not keep people from messaging you; it just prevents anonymous ones. It's part of a feature that allows you to put a Facebook chat window in your website to communicate....and this option let's people who are not Facebook users still use it. If you're not using that option, then it's definitely not needed.

This Thursday we will be hosting our 2nd Annual TopGolf Event held at Topgolf. We have a total of 234 golfers signed up to eat, play, and have an awesome time to raise money for great local causes.
