What customers never see:

The research. The testing. The troubleshooting. The waiting for a symptom to happen again. The double-checking before calling a repair complete.

A lot of the work happens before the actual fix.

When a device gets dropped off, it doesn’t go straight to repair.

It gets logged, inspected, tested, and documented first.

That way there’s a clear baseline before anything is touched — especially if there are multiple issues or prior repairs involved.

Not every repair uses brand new parts — and that’s not always a bad thing.

Some components perform identically when tested properly, especially in non-critical or budget repairs.

The important part is knowing when new parts actually matter vs when tested used parts make sense.

Sometimes a device comes in looking like a simple fix… until it’s opened.

What looks like a port issue can turn into board damage, corrosion, or previous repair attempts.

That’s why final pricing sometimes changes after full inspection — not to upsell, but to reflect what’s actually going on inside.

System Quick Tip of the Day:
You’d be surprised how many overheating problems come down to dust buildup and dried thermal paste.

Heat slowly wears electronics down over time, especially gaming systems and laptops.

A basic internal cleaning can make a bigger difference than people think.

Some people know me for PC repair.
Some know me for console work.
Some for custom gaming builds.

Truth is, at "Byte Buster" I do a little bit of everything tech-related 🔧

PCs • Laptops • Consoles • Upgrades • Performance Fixes • Virus Removal

Quick Tech Tip: The ‘It Still Works’ Myth

Many hardware failures start with intermittent symptoms before total failure.

Random freezing. Unexpected shutdowns. Performance suddenly feeling inconsistent.

A system can appear ‘mostly fine’ long before a larger issue develops.

One thing I’ve noticed:

People slowly adapt to failing tech without realizing it.

Waiting 5 minutes for a laptop to boot. Opening apps twice because they freeze the first time. Turning the console off and back on because it overheated again.
After a while it starts feeling ‘normal’ — even when it isn’t.

A lot of systems show warning signs long before they completely fail.
