While visiting Kansas City with her family, our Implementation Project Manager Stephanie Wolf stopped by a few members of the Celerant community and got to see firsthand how their businesses are growing.

After spending so much time working with Collin Galloway during their transition to Celerant in 2024, Stephanie was excited to finally stop in and catch up. The best part? Hearing that everything has been running smoothly and the team has been loving the system.

Stephanie also had the chance to stop by Peculiar Games & Hobbies during a weekend full of tournaments, family fun, and local gaming events. It was great seeing the community that Pat and Kim Roberts have built around their store and getting to experience it all firsthand.

We almost jumped on the “Millennial vs Gen Z marketing” trend… but the more we thought about it, the more this really reflects how communication and buyer behavior are evolving overall.

Marketing used to lean heavily on long-form explanations, polished corporate language, and feature-heavy messaging. Today, there’s a noticeable shift toward clearer, faster, and more direct communication.

And honestly? That shift applies to retail software too.

Retailers don’t want to juggle disconnected systems or sit through paragraphs of buzzwords trying to explain what a platform does.

They want to know:
👉 Can it run my store more efficiently?
👉 Can it save my team time?
👉 Can my systems actually work together?

37 buzzwords later and somehow “all in one system” still says it best 😅
