Most businesses pick something too broad — "contractor" instead of "roofing contractor" — or never update it after setup.

Your primary category is one of the strongest ranking signals in the local algorithm.

How to check:
→ Open your GBP dashboard

→ Make sure it's the most specific, accurate match for your main service
