The AI & Tech industry has no shortage of big ideas when it comes to innovation, but how many ideas actually help operationalize tech in an organization?

At FPOV, our monthly Idea Stream newsletter shares big ideas to unlock business value from technology, not just all the hype around the headlines.

On this month's Idea Stream, we cover the AI asset most organizations haven't built yet, Claude Mythos and if organizations really be concerned, and who should own AI agents in your organization.

Most AI inside enterprises today is sprawled. One team has a workflow that's working. One analyst built a prompt library that saves hours a week. One ops lead has a Copilot Agent that finally got adopted.

That's valuable, but it isn't a resilient strategy.

If your power user leaves, the capability leaves with them or when a vendor shifts pricing, the workflow shifts with it.

The problem with relying on siloed power users is that the organization doesn't own any of it, and it can't build on top of it.

The organizations moving ahead are doing something different. They're building capabilities the enterprise owns, that compound year over year, that outlast any single person or platform.

On May 14, Scott Klosoksy will be covering the "AI Powers" organizations can develop to upgrade from siloed power users to a capable AI organization.

If you missed last week's FPOV Update on Building Your Intelligence Layer, the recording is now available.

Sean McLean walked through what it actually means to architect AI systems that connect to the entire organization rather than scattering across departments.

Many employees already think AI is coming for their jobs.

And if leadership hasn't said otherwise, that assumption becomes the answer.

The organizations getting this right aren't just deploying tools. They're setting a clear agenda with their people: AI isn't here to replace anyone. It's here to move them up.

That's the core of HUMALOGY®, the balance between human and technology. The goal isn't fewer people. It's people doing more of what only people can do.

But that message doesn't land in a company-wide email. It lands when someone sees how their role evolves, not disappears.

If teams don't know where they sit on the HUMALOGY® scale, they'll fill in the blanks themselves.

They won't be optimistic about it.

How's your leadership team working to build AI optimism?

AI is the fastest moving technology humans have ever created.

In November 2022, ChatGPT launched and the internet lost its mind.

That was 40 months ago.

Now we're talking about agents that operate your computer, the dissolving of UX, and AI that doesn't wait to be asked.

Most businesses are still catching up to 2023.

The pace of AI is not slowing down and the real question for executives isn't whether AI matters, but whether anyone in your orbit is helping you figure out what's actually relevant to your business and what's just noise.

That's what we do.

We're genuinely excited about where this technology is going. And we're here for the leaders who want a real conversation about it, not another deck.

The more invisible a risk is, the louder it eventually announces itself. While boards and leadership teams often focus heavily on cybersecurity, many hidden risks quietly drain money, trust, and resilience every single day without getting the attention they deserve.

Most companies are already building an intelligence layer, they just don’t realize it yet.

Every prompt, decision, and AI workflow is capturing knowledge. The question is whether your organization will own and architect it… or let it grow randomly.
