JOB GOAL:
To perform telecommunications cabling installations and audio-visual installations in conjunction with a team of cabling technicians and a project manager.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist with roughing in copper and fiber optic communications cabling
2. Assist with termination, testing and labeling of all cabling
3. Assist with access control, security camera and wireless access point installations
4. Decommissioning and removing old equipment and cabling
5. Installing equipment racks
6. Installing new Audio-Visual equipment
7. Operate a vehicle in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt
8. Follow all safety regulations and precautions
9. Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Driver’s License Required
2. Acceptable driving record
3. Electrical experience or degree is preferred
4. Drug/Alcohol free
5. Ability to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds
6. Ability to work in all types of weather
7. Ability to work on short duration out of town jobs
8. Ability to comfortably work from a step ladder
9. Ability to follow simple directions
10. Must be able to obtain PA ACT 34, 151 and 114 clearances (paid for by Computec after employment)
