Dear StompLight customers and fellow musicians ❤️ IT’S OFFICIAL — HEART SHAPED WORLD IS OUT!
After more than two years of writing, recording, experimenting, laughing, occasionally pulling my hair out, and making music with some truly wonderful people, I’m thrilled to share that my new album Heart Shaped World is officially out today and streaming worldwide!
Nine original songs. Nine different stories. One idea connecting them:
The many ways love influences our lives.
Love of family and friends. Love of home and community. Love of nature. Romantic love. The absence of love. And perhaps most importantly, learning to bring a little more kindness, generosity, gratitude and joy into our everyday lives.
Musically, Heart Shaped World travels through Americana, Yacht Rock, West Coast rock and jazz-rock, drawing inspiration from music I’ve loved for decades—including Steely Dan’s Aja, Boz Scaggs and Michael Franks.
I was incredibly fortunate to have some remarkable musicians join me along the way, including Larry Carlton, Mark Douthit, Tom Miller, and many other talented friends and collaborators who brought these songs to life.
To every musician, engineer, producer, friend and family member who contributed, encouraged me, listened to another mix, came to a show, or simply said “keep going”—thank you. ❤️
Now these songs aren't just mine anymore. They're yours.
