Members of the Anguleris staff spent some of their Friday morning volunteering at the Judson University School of Architecture and Interior Design in Elgin, IL 🤝

Team members from both BIMsmith and Swatchbox helped clean, rearrange, and set up the studio workspaces for students about to begin their Fall semester of architecture school.

Launched in 2022 and built on a patented many-to-many data model, Detail Shelf lets architects and specifiers search, preview, and download construction details as Revit, DWG, or PDF, with direct insertion into active Revit projects via the BIMsmith plugin. Last week, Swatchbox, part of the Anguleris family of brands, was on-site at the IIDA Ohio Kentucky Chapter's ZeroLandfill event in Toledo.

Through its Second Life program, Swatchbox recovers unused architectural and design samples and returns them to circulation instead of the landfill.

It's a small step with an outsized impact: less waste, more value from material that's already been made, and a clearer picture of what responsible sampling can look like at scale. It's the kind of model we're proud to stand behind, and one we plan to bring to more events like this going forward.

From NeoCon in Chicago straight to AIA 2026 in San Diego, the Anguleris team had a lot to show.

BIMsmith brought its product research and Revit specification tools to the booth. Swatchbox powered the AIA Sample Gallery, giving architects hands-on time with real materials, and shared more about Second Life Samples, our circular sampling program.
