Behringer X32 Digital Mixer Board
In my opinion, the best mixer board for your buck today. It's low cost but also easy to use. It also gives you the ability to control it remotely with a tablet. We have installed many of these mixer boards in churches and it always shows immediate improvement to any church sound system.

We recently had the opportunity to upgrade the entire audio/visual system at Chippewa Lake Baptist Church in Medina, and it was a great experience from start to finish.

We worked directly with Pastor Dan, coordinating everything around their ministry schedule so services and activities weren’t disrupted. He was straightforward, easy to work with, and fully engaged throughout the process. By the time we wrapped up, he was thrilled with how everything turned out — and more importantly, how it performs.

Here’s what we accomplished:

Replaced an older analog mixer with a Behringer X32 Compact for significantly better control, clarity, and flexibility

Replaced a large overhead speaker and installed slim-style white JBL speakers for cleaner, more even sound coverage

Added two white active floor monitors on the platform

Installed new instrument microphones

Replaced older choir microphones

Added a USB audio interface to dramatically improve livestream audio quality

Replaced the projector and screen with two 85” TVs for the congregation

Installed a 75” stage display at the back of the auditorium

Relocated their previous PTZ camera to a side angle

Installed a new center PTZ camera for multiple livestream viewing angles

Added a dedicated PTZ camera controller

Installed a new in-house presenter system

Built and installed a custom desktop specifically for livestream production

Designed and installed a brand-new hardwired network so everything runs reliably and consistently

Recently, we had the opportunity to visit First Baptist Church of Streetsboro, Ohio after Assistant Pastor Ryan reached out about their in-house screens no longer working. He had inherited the media booth and was left with little direction on why the system had failed.

We installed an HDMI-over-Ethernet solution from the media booth at the rear of the auditorium to the front, replacing the original HDMI run to improve signal quality and eliminate ongoing issues. While onsite, we also tackled a major mess under the desk—removing a large amount of unnecessary equipment and cleaning things up to make the system more manageable.

To finish things off, we dialed in a quick mic and EQ mix on their Behringer X32 to ensure clean, balanced audio for both in-house sound and livestreaming. We also walked through realistic upgrade options for the future.

We recently had the privilege of helping EverSprings Baptist Church in Amherst, Ohio with upgrades to their sound system. We installed two new speakers, replaced their wireless lapel mic, and added two new handheld wireless microphones. The speakers were mounted on a ledge, and we carefully tuned the EQ on each mic to ensure the best sound quality throughout the sanctuary. Pastor Crabtree was thrilled with the results, and their system is now set to serve them well for years to come. A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to help Avon Baptist Church in Avon, Ohio get set up for their very first livestream. They had just gotten internet installed, so this was brand new territory for them.

We built and installed a new PC with vMix software, ran a hardline connection for a new PTZ camera, and dialed in clean audio from their Behringer X32 mixer. Everything came together smoothly, and Pastor Ray was thrilled with the results.

The church is now able to extend their outreach and make services accessible to shut-ins and those who can’t attend in person.

Media Overhaul at Calvary Baptist Church – Akron, OH

This past Saturday, we had the opportunity to assist Avon Baptist Church in Avon, Ohio. They were facing challenges getting their new Behringer X32 soundboard and other recently purchased equipment set up. We were able to fully configure their system and complete a custom EQ mix designed specifically for their sanctuary. Ray and the team were very happy with both the results and how simple the system was to use after setup and training. This past week, we had the opportunity to travel to Mercerville, Ohio, to assist Mercerville Baptist Church with upgrading their media setup. Pastor Garret Fitch, who recently stepped into his role, was experiencing challenges with getting the camera system running, livestreaming set up, and managing in-house presentations. Additionally, their audio mixer was nearly 30 years old.

We were able to quickly connect the camera to its controller and set up a dedicated PC with software for seamless livestreaming. We also configured a second computer to run Worship Tools Presenter for their in-house screen displays. To enhance their audio capabilities, we installed a Behringer X32 digital mixer and a Scarlett Focusrite audio interface and networked them to be controlled via iPad, creating clear, customized mixes for every microphone and output. This dramatically improved both the in-house and livestream sound quality.

Last week, we traveled to Markleton, PA for a livestream upgrade. The church had been using a basic setup with a laptop, we**am, and mic—and had been searching for help for years. We installed an NDI PTZ camera with network control, a Focusrite Scarlett for high-quality audio, and replaced their temporary projector with two 65” TVs connected to a Presenter system. We also set up a new computer running OBS to stream to two platforms simultaneously. They’re thrilled with the results and now have a much more capable setup.
