Consistency is new work that matches the rest of the house. In Cardiff-by-the-Sea, cracked glass came out of a tall black-framed opening. The frame was prepped, new glass went in from the walk, and the unit was sealed to the elevation. San Diego County. tarus.build

We wanted the condo to feel coordinated without having to think about it every day, and TARUS built exactly that. The network is solid with the UniFi setup and backup internet, the cameras and doorbell give us real visibility, and the HomeKit scenes actually work the way we live — lights come on when we pull in, the fan runs only when the night air is cooler, and everything locks down when we leave. It took a lot of the small daily friction out of the house. Quiet, reliable, and it just works.”

Waterproof is what keeps a new bath from leaking in year three. The Mission Hills remodel replaced an open shower with a tub and tiled surround, a custom vanity, and brass fixtures. The wet assembly is detailed before the finish. San Diego County. tarus.build

Powder room in Encinitas. Walls go from bare drywall to textured gray wallpaper, cut clean at the ceiling and door frames.

Sink and brass faucet stay. The room reads darker and tighter once the paper is up.

Rose Wall, Rancho Santa Fe | 2026
Careful removal, wall work, and every rose put back in place. The client’s note said it best — lights on in the garden again, roses back up, and the wall looking right.
The finish matters, but so does leaving the garden better than we found it.

Deck done. Clean lines, solid railings, and that San Diego view locked in.
The real win is the crew. Same guys show up, pass tools, check each other, and finish strong — on this deck and every TARUS project.
