Dot Dotson, a prominent Eugene photographer, opened his first camera store and photo lab in 1931. A pioneer in the photo finishing industry, Dot was among the first to process color film. Eighty five years later, the Dotson family is still carrying on Dot's tradition of quality photo finishing, friendly personal service and expert photographic advice. thusiasts still depend on Dot Dotson's commitment to quality photofinishing, just as they have for over eight decades. We offer processing of color and black & white film, 35mm and 120 formats, slide film (E-6), and most out-dated films (including APS, 110, 126). In addition to traditional film, we also welcome your digital files. You can get anything from a miniature locket size to a giant 44" x 10 foot mural. You can even get a woven tapestry, as well as a huge variety of gifts items. Save your memories of your video and audio recordings from most mediums to CD, DVD, Blu-Ray, or thumb drive. Many other services are available. We offer scanning of film, prints, and artwork. Complete the look with custom matting and framing. Lighting equipment, used gear, and photo accessories are also available.

Lane County Fair is coming up in July (7/22-7/26)! Adults can submit up to 4 photos for entry in the Photography Contest (kids can submit up to 10 photos) for a chance to win cash prizes! You can register online at their website, then bring your photos in July 12 or 13th for dropoff. Last Friday Movie night continues tomorrow, Friday, May 29th with a double feature!

The main feature is "Anand Varma: Hidden Wonders", a documentary about the acclaimed photographer and his use of science and innovative photographic techniques to reveal a world of beauty and wonder.

There will be a short feature film before the main feature delving into the photography of Portland photographer, Isabella Cassini, who uses food and a delightful sense of play in her images. This film was shown on Oregon Art Beat.

Films are shown at The New Zone Gallery, 110 E. 11th.
Doors open at 6:30 with the movies beginning at 7.

Please come join us! There will be popcorn and discussion.

There will only be one more movie night before the summer break.

Once again a wide range of photographic styles will be on display...thanks to the generosity of the many talented photographers who donated their work to help benefit the Photography at Oregon group. May 1st is when the online auction for these photos will be "live". Displaying them here gives everyone a chance to see these photos up close and personal...then, if you're so moved, you can log onto the auction and bid for your favorite.
