Looking back, that connection was undoubtedly the best thing to come out of that job! We both moved on to new roles and got married in 2005. Rachel dove into Supply Chain, becoming an expert in Order to Cash, Credit, Finance, Customer Account Management, Inventory Management, and Procurement. I transitioned into IT, where I spent the next 15 years scaling direct to consumer ecommerce sites from st
artup to high 8 figures, mastering Marketing and Technology. Both of us pursued our Master’s degrees—Rachel at Webster University and I at Ole Miss and — while continuing to dream about building something of our own. Jumping ahead several years, things took a turn when my role as VP of IT came to an end due to the company I helped build being acquired. That moment became our catalyst. Rachel encouraged me to avoid going back to working for someone else, and instead, to pursue an idea I had of better data-driven marketing reporting. That decision led me to work one-on-one with a Marketing Agency Owner, who became our first, and most loyal, client. From there, ReveelData LLC was born. Digital marketing agencies have to show their value to their clients and illustrate to them the true return on investment they provide across channels. We have worked tirelessly to solve these issues by merging CRM and ad channel data into dynamic dashboards that clearly show what’s working and what isn’t. It may sound simple, but it takes a lot of development work and flexibility to meet each client’s unique needs. ReveelData has grown entirely through referrals, and now, we’re ready to take the next step by expanding our reach through advertising. We’re excited to help more clients succeed because when they do, we do. The future looks bright, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead!
