Disability Action Center hosted their annual transition fair for high school students with disabilities. The fair was held on March 20, 2026 at the Disability Action Center. Many organizations were in attendance to meet with students from East Fairmont High School, Fairmont Senior and North Marion High School. Thanks to the Disability Action Center for inviting us once again this year.

With the help of Terry and Fawna our workforce of persons with disabilities continues to grow. Your hard work has directly contributed to our Success, and it does not go unnoticed.

The Op Shop is hiring! We are looking to fill a janitorial position, Monday thru Friday, 6am - 2pm. For this position a valid driver's license is required. If you are interested, please call us at (304) 366-5737 or stop in and fill out an application at 316 Columbia street, we are open from 8am - 4pm.

We would like to take a moment to recognize the outstanding efforts of our dedicated janitorial team serving the student residence halls at Fairmont State University.

A sincere thank you to Gregory A, Cameron L, Michael M, and Kaitlyn V, whose commitment to excellence plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our student residents. From vacuuming and dusting, to keeping the elevators shining, managing trash removal, and ensuring the restrooms and laundry rooms are spotless — your attention to detail does not go unnoticed.
