Had this Playstation 5 Pro come in today because it had no video output. That poor HDMI port has seen better days! Luckily, it didn't cause any further damage. We got a new one microsoldered in and now he can nerd out again!

This poor Playstation 5 ethernet port ate some lightning 🌩 and it blew out the port and power supply. We have to lay a few new trace wires on the motherboard, replace the ethernet port and power supply🔋 and it should be good to go!

If you get an email saying to call a number for assistance, do not call it right away! Go online to where the email should have originated (Venmo, PayPal, etc.) and find the customer support number listed. We have had 3 people in the last week that have had a "technician" remote into their phone and send money to themselves from Chime, PayPal, Venmo and others. A lot of the emails sent today from scammers look more and more legit, especially now with the help of AI. However, if you click on the To/From section of the email, you can tell if it's a legit email from the company or a bogus email. If ANYONE ever asks for your password, hang up immediately!

I hope this helps someone in the future! We have had three phones come in in the last two weeks for liquid damage while being inside a waterproof bag. The bags do great at keeping moisture out but are creating condensation inside the bag that's causing these devices to get liquid damage. If you do use a waterproof bag while having outdoor adventures, try to find some gel silica packets to add to the bag to capture any condensation created during your journeys. They are the white packets of beads that come in shoe boxes among other items to keep them dry. You can save some in a zip lock bag and use them when needed.
