It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved founding Corporate Secretary, Jacquelin “Jackie” Smith, who passed away peacefully on March 19th. Jackie was a foundational part of Copiers Plus from the very beginning, working alongside her husband, our founder Bob Smith, and helping shape the company into what it is today. She poured her heart into her family, her work, and the people around her, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beyond her role in the business, Jackie was a devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and her presence will be deeply missed by both her family and the Copiers Plus team.

On behalf of the Smith family, we thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers. We take comfort in knowing that Jackie is at home with the Lord and reunited with Bob.

In the coming days, we welcome you to share any memories or stories of Jackie, as we know her life touched so many in meaningful ways.

Visitation: April 7, 2026, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM & April 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM

We’re excited to share that Copiers Plus has been named a Community Leader for the 2026 season with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. ⚾

Alongside Segra, Mission Roll Call, and Chick-fil-A, we will be partnering with the Woodpeckers to support initiatives that strengthen the Fayetteville community, including youth sports, our military families, and efforts to assist during times of natural disaster.

At Copiers Plus, giving back to the communities we serve has always been an important part of who we are. For over 40 years, we have been proud to work with organizations across North Carolina that care deeply about making a positive impact.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this effort and look forward to a great season ahead.

It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Founder, President, and CEO, Bob Smith, passed away peacefully last Saturday evening surrounded by family. Bob was one of a kind and poured his heart and soul into his family, employees, customers, friends, and community. For those that knew him, loved him. He served in the office technology business for 66 years and founded Copiers Plus at the age of 50, on November 1, 1985. We will continue to honor Bob’s vision for Copiers Plus in making sure customer care is our priority and ensuring the PLUS stands for Service!

On behalf of the Smith family, we thank you for your condolences, support and continued prayers. We can find peace because Bob is at home with the Lord and pain free. Over the coming weeks we would love to hear any stories you may have of Bob as we know there are many we haven’t heard.

Thank you for being a part of our Copiers Plus family. It means more than you know.
