Such a fun morning with my friend Andrea Trainer Shearer and the Real Estate Cousins team!

I had the chance to talk with them about personal branding — how the way we act, react and communicate shapes how people remember us, and how our individual brand can also strengthen the bigger brand we’re part of.

One of my favorite reminders from the presentation:

What do people say when your name comes up? What do they remember about working with you? And is that the impression you want to leave?

This one was extra fun because I’ve been connected to the Real Estate Cousins brand for years. I designed their logo back in 2019, and Behind Your Design has had the opportunity to create their signs, promotional items and so much more over the years.

I loved getting to share some of my own stories today and talk about how I’ve shaped my personal brand along the way.

Check out the programs we created for Fenton Community Orchestra and Wishing Well Theatre Inc's War of the Worlds!

The Fenton Community Orchestra, in partnership with The Wishing Well Theatre Company will be presenting an original dramatic production based on the H.G. Wells novel "The War of the Worlds." A dramatization of the novel was famously broadcast by Orson Welles on October 30, 1938, sending thousands of radio listeners into a frenzy. This new production, co-written by Ricky Phillipi (Director, Wishing Well Theatre), Andy Philippi (ASC), Andrew David Perkins (ASCAP), and Natalie Perkins, and directed by Ricky Philippi, re-tells the events of both the H.G. Wells novel, and the events of the 1938 broadcast - as well as the fictionalized stories of the people who lived through it - with a LIVE ORCHESTRA interpolated into the action.

Some celebrations are made even more special by the little details. 🤍

We loved getting to help bring Connor & Gabrielle Macksood’s wedding details to life, especially with a wedding date as fun as 7/11! From their playful 7-Eleven-inspired shirts and matching socks to custom cups, napkins, coasters, signage and more, every piece added a little personality to their celebration. It was such a joy to be a small part of such a special day. Congratulations again, Connor & Gabrielle!
