A.I. can help senior housing become more affordable for families. The largest operating expense for senior housing companies is labor! We don’t expect A.I. to automate caregiving any time soon, but back-office functions will become much more cost-efficient, and families will benefit because through pricing.

A.I. can be scary! I attended our HBS reunion last week, and I’m still in awe of a story that an expert told. An A.I. bot was tasked with accessing a website that was protected by reCAPTCHA. Without instructions, the bot went to Taskrabbit and hired someone to assist. When the tasker asked why, the bot claimed it had a visual impairment and needed help picking the right images for reCAPTCHA. It flat out lied!
