🇺🇸 Big week at Downey Enterprise — and an even bigger shout-out to give. 🇺🇸

Trailer service and wiring, installs and upfits, diagnostics, computer help, and auto detailing, all from your veteran-owned, family-built Downriver shop.

But the part we're proudest of is right on the front page: our Community Spotlight.

This week's featured organization is Downriver for Veterans - and if you live Downriver, you should know their name. Since 2017, this 501(c)(3) nonprofit has been taking care of veterans and their families from every era of service — helping with essential life expenses, food, toiletries, pet supplies, bedding, and resources, and even working toward housing solutions for local veterans through their PreFab Homes for Veterans project.

They don't just talk about supporting those who served. They show up. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 11am–2pm, at their warehouse at 2322 Northline in Wyandotte - 734-934-0532.

As an Army veteran and a Downriver business owner, I can't say it loud enough: organizations like this are the backbone of our veteran community. To the whole DFV team — thank you for everything you do for our veterans and our veteran families. You are NOT alone isn't just their message. It's their mission.
