So I know it's been a while guys, but we are back. The data warehouse solution is still in testing mode, but we now have the funding to move forward with our WiFi Power phone apps. First will be our APK (Android app) that is scheduled to be released by the end of the 2nd quarter and are iOS version by the end of the year. Follow us for updates!!

As promised yesterday we would like to make a huge announcement. As some of you know WiFi Power split into two companies last year one for our enterprise solution (I can not disclose the company name quite yet) and one for our consumer solution (which held on to the name WiFi Power). We are very pleased to announce that I received news from my ex-partner that the WiFi Power technology that they had purchased rights to has successfully been working running a full data center solely on WiFi radio waves for over 48 hours now. So as a consumer this probably doesn't mean much to you, but it should as this means we are in the final stages of rolling out our Android and iOS applications for you, the consumer. Please feel free to contact us for updates or any questions. We will need beta testers, I will be posting a link in the next few days for any interested beta testers to sign up.

As I mentioned as we approach 2017 we would have some big announcements to make. As a lot of you may know I am the owner of a full service IT company, Alter Ego Technologies. With that being said all of WiFi Power's assets will now be apart of Alter Ego Technologies, this will not change anything besides the fact that WiFi Power is a technology owned and operated by Alter Ego now and WiFi Power is no longer a functioning entity of it's own. All focus on this sector of the business as of right now will be building the mobile apps for WiFi charging. Again, all hopes are to have alpha releases done by the end of Q1 and beta testing starting by the end of Q2. Thanks for all your patience through this transition period.

As we mentioned last night in our post, we would have some announcements to make as we move into 2017. We can now officially tell everyone that WiFi Power's Data center solution has been acquired by another company. This is good news for all of you consumers as this means WiFi Power will only be focusing on developing their mobile application. At this time I can not disclose any details on the company that has acquired the business sector of what was formerly part of WiFi Power. You will continue to see updates on the progress of our mobile application. Our goal is to have initial application builds by the end of Q1 in 2017. Please continue to follow us for any updates as we will soon be building a team of beta testers. We just want everybody to know that our dream of everyone having the capability to charge their mobile device(s) over a WiFi connection has not died. As some of you know WiFi Power has essentially two different sectors (business/data center & consumer). We have been working on our Android consumer app primarily for the last month or so as our data center solution was being tested in a data warehouse locally. Unfortunately some bugs were found which I hope we can address rather quickly. With that being said, Android development is going to have to be put on the back burner for right now. We do not have the full bug report in hand to give an estimate on how long it'll take to begin testing the data center again, but we should have that information by tomorrow. The original date for the alpha version of the Android app is going to be pushed back to an undetermined date. I will continue to update everyone as all of this progresses. Thanks for your patience.

Development is back on for our Android app, it has been confirmed that the over heating issues were due to the actual battery and nothing with the actual firmware of the phone, Samsung has since switched battery manufacturers.

The recent recalls of several phones have put development and testing to a slight halt until we get full confirmation that it is just a battery issue and not the built-in charging functions of these phone's software as our software works with the same power ratings. Please continue to follow us as we expect to continue development by sometime next week. Several cell phone manufacturers have been very cooperative with us as they are just as interested in the technology as everyone else is. Thanks for your patience!
