Customer came in after a power surge completely took out their PlayStation 5.

System wouldn’t boot and was hitting 3 beeps immediately when plugged in — not a good sign.
Most places would call this a loss… or tell you to replace the console.

We went deeper 👇
🔧 Full board-level diagnostic
🔧 Identified BIOS corruption from the surge
🔧 Repaired + reprogrammed the system
🔧 Used UART to bring it back online

✅ Result: Fully restored and running like normal again

Had a customer come in with an instrument cluster that wasn’t showing the LED indicators for Drive, Park, and other gears.

We pulled the cluster apart, repaired the board, and resoldered the chips that were causing the issue. After putting everything back together, it’s working like new again.

Electrical issues like this can seem complicated, but most of the time they just need the right diagnosis and repair.

Had a customer come in after accidentally ripping several wires out of the control sensor PCB on their Onewheel and asked if there was any way we could repair it instead of replacing the entire board.

After taking a look, we were able to repair the damaged wiring, rebuild the connections on the board, and get everything back up and running like it should. As you can see from the photos, it’s now back to tip-top shape and ready to ride again.

We’ve actually had quite a few customers come in after being told their board was “dead” or that they needed to replace the entire device. A lot of times that just means the shop isn’t going down to the board level to actually diagnose the problem. We fix a lot of those so-called “dead boards.” When you know what you’re looking for and can work at the component level, many of those boards are completely repairable.

If you’ve ever been told something is dead or that the only option is buying a whole new device, it’s always worth getting a second opinion. We go all the way down to board-level diagnostics and repairs and in many cases we’re able to bring things back to life and save people a lot of money.

This isn’t just a job for us either. We genuinely enjoy this kind of work and take a lot of pride in the repairs we do.

Had a customer bring in their Xbox series X stating their son had jammed the HDMI cord forward into the console and that it’s no longer showing any picture on the tv. They thought it just needed a simple port replacement… but once we opened it up, we found the pads were completely ripped off the board.

That meant full-on console surgery. We rebuilt the traces, ran fresh lines, and brought this thing back from the dead the right way.

Now it’s running like new again.

Shoutout to my tech Michael Richard, he absolutely nailed the trace line work on this one. Precision was on point. 🤌
