Had a relaxing time at Mertyl Beach, Sth Carolina. Met with Florida friends at their lovely gulf community home in Nth Carolina. Discovered one of the band Alabama's first stomping grounds. Adios Myrtle Beach, heading back to Florida tomorrow....

What a great day at the Getaway yesterday with our old motorcycle friends and family. Wish the weather would have been a little more cooperative, but everything turned out awesome. It's always a good time bringing back the good old days. Lots of laughter, good for the soul :-) .
Thanks for the good time my friends, we've got to do more often.

What a nice place to enjoy retirement at our Getaway on St Marc du Lac Long. We get the best of both worlds. We can (1) enjoy the calmness around us and have a relaxing time watching the birds swim and fish jump the waters. Or (2) have friends, family and neighbors over for a "happy hour" that lasts into the night. What a great time. Thanks for coming over everyone.

Well, well, well, guess what we did today after our day in town. A little moonshine tasting :-) . Had a wine tasting Sunday, had to return for the moonshine. Mmmm, c'est bon ca :-) .

Youpi, youpi :-) , finally got our suitcases after 3 days on the road. Thank God for carryons. :-) . Now we can tour Alaska .
