As was best said in Spaceballs (a great movie to watch while you are self-quarantining):
Fasten all seat belts, seal all entrances and exits, close all shops in the mall! Cancel the three ring circus! Secure all animals in the zoo...
Those of you that know me, know I like to keep things light, and even in times of a pandemic, I still try to find ways to joke around, smile and laugh and recommend that you all do as well. Take time to appreciate all that you have and those around you. Keep safe and mindful. A few things to know about us right now:
1. During this period of pandemic, Technology Specialists remains open to take care of our clients technology needs. We’ve always done remote support and we will continue to have our employees work remotely from their homes to keep your businesses running. If you are not a client and find yourself in need of IT assistance, please reach out. It is our goal to be good neighbors during these stressful times. If we can help, we will do so.
2. Through the end of March, we are suspending any on-site visits except for critical issues that render a person or group of people unable to work. In other words, if a person is experiencing a printer problem which can't be fixed remotely, but the person can print to the printer down the hall, we will set that person up to print down the hall and come on-site once the social distancing recommendations have been lifted. We will revisit this the last week of March and provide an update.
3. For anyone looking to work remotely or switch to VoIP phones systems, we are offering a free consultation to discuss your needs and possible solutions to help you remain productive (and sane) during this pandemic. If you are interested in a free consultation, please reply to this email, or call us and let’s talk.
4. To protect our staff in our office, the inside door will be locked. Please use the doorbell and we will answer the door. Call ahead so we know you are coming if you need to drop equipment off to be repaired. This is not a time for just dropping by to chat as we are working to maintain social distancing as recommended by the CDC. If you just need a chat, just give us a call!
5. Many SCAM artists are out in force during a crisis like this so beware of requests for donations, links on your social media to free events and emails that seem like they are coming from your banks, utility providers or any email asking you to verify account information. Even links to WHO and others may not be real links.
We are committed to keep things flowing as smoothly as we can. If we can help your company stay safe and productive please give us a call.
Share with us your favorite jokes, shows to binge watch or your quarantine recipes that are getting you through the day. I personally love cookies. Use this time to connect with yourself, your family and to check in on neighbors who may be alone or elderly. Call, send emails and most of all binge watch/read things that uplift to clear your brain of fear.
Stay safe out there!
