Ten years ago in 2016 we delivered our first two MERC-LITE satcom trailers with Zumro Air Shelters to the Dominican Republic. Almost ten years later to the day we had their Ministry of Defense at our facility in Ft. Worth today for an inspection on their 3rd and newest MERC-LITE and Zumro Air Shelter. These trailers have been a real work horse for our customers over the past 20 years combining their compact size with 63u of rack space for advanced comm gear installs and a custom Zumro Air Shelter that is designed to attach to the rear of the trailer to provide a climate controlled work space with full access to all three IT racks. These trailers work especially well in Central and South America because larger command centers can not always safely navigate the narrow streets and low hanging trees and power lines. CCS will be traveling to the Dominican in a few weeks to train the soldiers assigned to this unit. The best complement a customer can pay you is "repeat business" and the Dominican Military has been a great customer and friend over the years. More to follow on this project after the training in a few weeks!

The Texas Emergency Management Conference 2026 at the Fort Worth Texas Convention Center is less than a month away - May 25 through the 29th. CCS will be in attendance again this year in Booth 939 with our friends from IP Access International, Zumro Air Shelters, JPS, and Charter Communications (Spectrum). Our setup this year will be split into six zones to demonstrate:

• Zone 1: Command & Incident Operations
• Zone 2: Mobile & Fleet Connectivity
• Zone 3: Temporary Infrastructure & Coverage
• Zone 4: Portable & Rapid Deployment
• Zone 5: Interoperability
• Zone 6: Connectivity Layer (IP Access)

This will be a complete representation of what we work to bring to the table for our customers every single day: the ability to communication and function anywhere in the world regardless of the availability of local resources. You hope for the best, but you plan for the worst.

Stop by and see us in Cowtown, there will be a lot of cool technology on display!!

PERC KITS FOR VOTING CENTERS: Customers are always better at figuring out cool applications for our products than we are are. These past couple of years several of our customers including Harris County down in Houston and Denton County right here in North Texas have been using their CCS PERC Kits to provide network access at Voting Centers and Polling Sites. What a great idea! During the time period for US Citizens to cast their votes, these Voting Centers need secure network connectivity for the staff working the centers and for some of the equipment used at the Center. Many times the physical locations where these centers are located are not equipped to support this temporary network need. Instead of spending thousands of dollars to bring in additional land based services, our customers can simply deploy a PERC unit that provides both wireless and hard wired network connections.

Most PERCs are equipped with a Pepwave dual sim dual modem BR2 router which means they can support two different SIM cards simultaneously from two different network providers and if the cell coverage is not great, they can also accept a network feed through a WAN port such as a Starlink satellite connection or a local network already at the site. The Pepwave can even allow a wireless WAN connection is there is a secure reliable wireless network nearby. The PERC can run a full day on batteries, but can also be plugged in for indefinite run times. A simple secure affordable way to provide a solid network for these Voting Centers.

This past week we were at the Region 6 Symposium in Webster, TX and I had a couple of customers come up to us and seemed surprised that we were there. When I asked why, they said they had heard we were shutting down our business - basically closing our doors. At first I thought they were just pulling my leg, but then as I dug deeper I learned that there was a rumor floating around in South Texas that CCS was doing poorly and may be closing. It did not take long to determine where this rumor started and what a shocker - it came from one of our competitors.

I have always taken the policy with myself and my sales team that we never criticize a competitor to a customer. Trying to making yourself look better by disparaging someone else is never a good idea in business or even in your personal life. We just focus on our own products and track record as we continue to grow our business. The truth is in our industry of mobile command center manufacturers there are several excellent companies that do really good work. In fact over the years we have gotten to know many of them by attending the same trade shows, conferences, and deployment exercises and I consider several of them friends.

Just to set the record straight, CCS is alive and well. We have been in business for over 19 years this past January and 2025 was our best year to date surpassing 2024 which held the same record until 2025 was completed. In 2025 we expanded our sales team by adding Brian Stevenson out of Baltimore, MD to help grow our focus on the Federal Market, we expanded our Product Development efforts by building out a new 1,200 square foot technology/product development lab at our facility in Ft. Worth to focus on our tactical mobile communication packages like our PERC units, Skymast, and new Tailgator, we added Mike Butler as our new VP of Product Development bringing over 30 years of experience in the communication industry, we have contracted with AT&T FirstNet to provide two new products through their global sales team - the FirstNet Mobile Connectivity HUB and PERC-Skymast, we have added additional production staff including electricians, welders, and fabricators, and we have contracted with Charter Communications (Spectrum) to build out a fleet of MERC-COW hybrid comms trailers that are quickly being deployed all across the United States.

I never thought "Fake News" would apply to my business, but I guess it can. If you are a CCS customer and ever have concerns about our well-being, please contact me directly. I promise we are are doing great and very excited about 2026!

CCS has been attending the Region 6 Symposium this week at the Great Wolf Lodge and Resort Center in Webster, Texas. The conference is for First Responders from Region 6 that includes Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Attendees get some vital training on new emergency response "best practices" and technology that can assist them in their daily mission of protecting their communities. We displayed the new AT&T FirstNet Mobile Connectivity HUB (FMCH), multiple PERC mobile hot spot kits that were equipped with Starlink satellites, Pepwave routers, and lithium battery banks, and the new Skymast portable inflatable tower system. Really enjoyed getting to meet these great group of men and women and truly appreciate what they do for all of us every single day!

CCS is excited to announce our latest flavor of our PERC mobile Go Kits - the PERC-1WEB! The PERC stands for Portable Emergency Response Center and we have been providing PERCs for over 10 years now. This new PERC is equipped with an Intellian OW10HV LEO satellite flat panel antenna, a Pepwave BR2 Pro Max dual sim dual modem 5g router, a lithium battery bank with an external power meter, an internal POE switch, WiFi, and a wheeled Pelican style case for easy transport. We have had a Starlink version of the PERC for quite a while now, but many of our customers wanted the option to use a One Web based unit as an alternate satellite network provider and so they could take advantage of their SuperGig Network Service from IP Access International. The unit is equipped with both DC and AC power plugs for charging and operation. This unit will be on display at the IWCE Conference in Las Vegas in March.

As we now move into 2026, I did not want to let 2025 pass by without thanking all of our customers, business partners, suppliers, and employees for making 2025 our best year in the history of our company dating back to our inception in 2007 – 19 years and counting! When we started CCS our initial focus was going to be on our home state of Texas just attempting to serve what we considered local agencies, many of which I had already been working with during my 21-year stint with AT&T/Lucent/Avaya. What I did not realize at the time is that what we do is such a niche market that the demand for these mobile communication platforms we provide has a global reach and there are not many companies that do what we do.

Today CCS has customers from the East Coast to the West Coast and in 13 countries around the globe. From the Central Republic of Africa to the jungles of Panama to our Canadian neighbors to the north, CCS clients are deploying our MERC satcom trailers and PERC Go Kits to help keep their citizens safe. At last count we have over 300 MERC mobile command centers deployed worldwide with more units being built out every day.

In 2025 we invested much more resources and physical space on new product development. All our product development projects are based on feedback from our customers where they share a specific need that they have and need a manufacturer’s help to meet that need. This feedback led to the development of our new Skymast product which is a 20-foot portable battery powered mast or tower system that allows customers to quickly put antennas, cameras, or other equipment in the air to assist in their deployments. We also rolled out our new MERC-Tailgator product which is basically a compact hybrid powered mobile command center in a compact wheeled enclosure that can slide into the receiver on most standard vehicles. Through our relationship with AT&T FirstNet both of these products are available through their direct sales team, and they have their own version of the Tailgator specific to their design called the FirstNet Mobile Connectivity HUB. You will see much more on these products in 2026.
Special thanks to some of our more active 2025 customers including Pasadena Texas Office of Emergency Management, Ft. Bend County Texas Office of Emergency Management, Texas Dept of Emergency Management, Texas Dept. of Public Safety, Denton County Texas Office of Emergency Management, Florida City Florida Police Dept., Lee County Florida Healthcare, Cochise County Arizona Sheriff’s Office, Harris County Texas, City of Houston, Charter Communications (Spectrum), AT&T FirstNet, City of Irving Texas Police Dept. , Verizon Wireless, Country of Chile, Dominican Republic, and many more. The men and women at these agencies and companies are using this equipment in emergency response situations and for security and their work is greatly appreciated.
Our partnerships with companies like IP Access International, Frontier Communications, Fireco Pneumatic Masts, Peplink, Ericsson, Synnex, Dejero, Kymeta, Starlink, One Web, Intellian, AT&T, Verizon, Cummins, Get Wireless, Freightliner, Zumro Air Shelters, Multi-Quip, Engine Power Source, Victron, and several more enable us to stay on the cutting edge of technology to make sure we are properly serving our customers. Their help and support are very important to our continued success and is very much appreciated.

And last but not least, I want to thank all of our CCS employees from Texas to Maryland to Florida. A company is only as good as it’s people and we would not be able to accomplish what we do without them. Cliff Haynes our Operations Manager and Paul Aguero our Shop Manager do a great job of managing the day to day production. Bryan Rudel our sales manager for South Texas had a phenomenal 2025 and his best year to date and his hard work is very much appreciated. Mike Butler was a recent hire we brought in to help us grow our product development team and we are expecting big things from him in 2026. Brian Stevenson was added mid-year out of Maryland to help us grow our focus on the Federal Market and he has already done some great work for us.
We have some more new products in the works for early 2026 so stay tuned for some future announcements. Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season, and we look forward to working with you in 2026! God is good.

Many of you saw the announcements last week from AT&T FirstNet and the FirstNet Authority on the new FirstNet Mobile Connectivity HUB (FMCH) -https://lnkd.in/g3NCtXcp . CCS is very excited to be partnering with AT&T on this new product and we look forward to serving AT&T FirstNet customers across the nation. I was on a deployment along the US-Mexico Border just a few days ago with the Cochise County, AZ Sheriff's Department and it just reinforced what we have been telling our customers for the past 19 years - the two basic requirements for any remote deployment are power and comms (communications). The FMCH addresses both those issues with a hybrid power system (solar and generator), a Pepwave BR2 dual sim dual modem router, and a Starlink and/or One Web satellite with SuperGig network service. Combined with the AT&T FirstNet radios, the FMCH provides First Responders the ability to communicate anywhere in the United States for extended periods of time regardless of what local resources are available. Much more info to follow on this new product in the coming months!!

CCS has also launched our new Skymast product with AT&T FirstNet earlier this year. The Skymast is a battery powered 20 foot inflatable mobile tower system that provides customers the ability to have the lifting power of a 20 foot mast in a small form factor wheeled pelican case that can be stored in most standard vehicles for easy transport and storage. The unit can be ordered with several application bundles for video surveillance, WiFi hotspot, CBRS or private LTE, FirstNet Band 14 antenna deployments, land mobile radio antennas, mesh networks, or audio broadcasting announcements. CCS has already done several deployments with the new Pepwave Antenna Max Duo which combines an LTE antenna with a Pepwave BR2 dual sim dual modem router into a single outdoor rated casing that can be mounted on the top of the Skymast antenna and powered off the internal battery system. A CAT5 cable can be extended from the router to the ground to allow for a WAN connection into a portable LEO satellite system for additional bandwidth.
